“What is an American?”

The first trait that explains how Americans are is the trait of being hard-workers. The willpower to never give up and always get back up on your feet and try harder is a great feeling for those that want to do better than they already do. For example, when you’re working in a mine, it can be pretty hard. The hot cave and your constant sweating can be a delaying factor in finishing your work in one piece. You may drop, but you stand up and finish what you started. Being a hard-worker takes a lot of your time, but this is an essential trait for the common American that describes how they show they are an American.

Now the next one is a negative trait an American. This is the greedy trait that many share, and greed is not nice. If two Americans were offered a raise and the boss tells them that the one that shows more work gets it, than one of them (or both) will cheat their way to get it and not show true honesty. And when the time comes that he has to let a friend borrow money, he won’t. This trait isn’t a blessing to have because this makes people inherit more malevolent traits, and this can tear up relations if there is no trust between the host and the receiver.

The last of the traits I have left to explain is the trait of being free from extreme power. This is important to have because it proves your need for freedom and your determination to get it. This is a realistic example: Before 1776, King George III had control over New England and this area was the future USA. His rule made the colonists mad and many of them hated the King. They wanted war and the U.S. was born. This extreme power is cruel and shall not be tolerated. Tyranny is mad control over every resident and Americans didn’t like it one bit. This is important to Americans because this is the key for survival, and Americans need to survive.
